Adopt

Meet Our Available Cats Below!

How does the adoption process work?

Our adoptions take place at foster homes around the Dunedin/Mosgiel areas. We focus on finding the best possible home for each cat.

Please note: clicking Adopt Me does not place a hold on an animal or guarantee an adoption.

The adoption process:

A wide range of cats and kittens

We have a wide range of cats and kittens available for adoption. To filter your search results, choose a sex, age, and/or size. You can also search using an animal’s name if you have it. If the type of cat you are looking for is not available at the moment, please check back regularly as new cats and kittens are always being added.

All cats are desexed, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms

All of our cats and kittens are desexed, have received their first vaccination, and have been regularly treated for fleas and worms. Microchipping is also included in the price.

Once you apply for a cat, the foster will contact you to arrange a meeting. If you and the foster agree the cat will be a good fit for your household, you can complete the adoption online immediately and bring your new family member home.

It doesn’t happen overnight.

Please be aware that our cats may have had a tough start in life and need time to settle into their new homes and learn to trust you.

The 3/3/3 rule is a general guideline for the adjustment period of a pet after adoption. Every pet is unique and will adjust differently. Please have patience and allow your new pet time to settle in.
